Lexi duda attends the University of Maryland where she is majoring in Broadcast Journalism and is the Feature Twirler. She was a 3-time Miss Majorette of America, 3- time Grand National Twirling Champion and a 3 -time World Solo & Rhythmic Champion. Here are the questions you asked:

1)What is your favorite part about twirling?

2) If you could change one thing about the sport what would it be?

Here are her answers:

1) My favorite part about baton twirling would have to be how unique we are as a sport which not only brings us closer as a community but it allows us to stand out in the crowd. We travel all over the worlds for competitions, our best friends are the people we compete with, and we truly have the most supportive people in our sport.I love how our community is like its own separate world providing so much joy and comfort.

2) I would love to create more International baton twirling competitions so all levels can see what it's what it's all about. When competing internationally a whole new outlook on baton twirling opens up. You're around people who just love our sport and have a passion like no other. It's an honor for those people to have earned the chance to compete across the world, but it's an honor that should be available to more of the athletes.
